Camp McFadden Outdoor Expo

Catch a fish, learn to canoe, zip down the Zip Line…these are just a few of the activities available at the tenth annual Camp McFadden Outdoor Expo, on the first weekend in May. Admission is by donation with a suggested donation of $3 per person.

Do you like to fish?  Bring your pole and bait and fish the Camp McFadden north fishing pond with help from biologists from the Oklahoma Wildlife Dept. Cook your own hot dog over the open camp fire and for dessert toast a marshmallow and fix a s’more. Enjoy Dutch oven cooking courtesy of the DOGS (Dutch Oven Gathering).

Many of the traditional Camp McFadden Outdoor Expo activities include making a bird feeder, a nature scavenger hunt, learning about animals, canoeing and kayaking on the pond, archery and more. Zip down the Zip Line for $5 per person.

Camp McFadden is located on Kaw Lake. It is approximately seven miles east of the Pioneer Woman statue in Ponca City on Lake Rd, then north on Enterprise and east on Hartford. If coming from the north go south on Enterprise to Hartford, then left (east) to the camp entrance.
